Precision furnaces are usually designed to give the operator a much wider stable heated (± 5°C) length. Heated length is divided into equal zones and the power for each zone is controlled by means of seperate controllers. Thus not only a longer heated tube length is achieved but also to create a temperature gradient along the tube is possible.

There are 2 modes of controller application for Precision series. Back to back applications allow for programmable heat up where as 3 independent controllers give a possibility of Gradient application.
